Yarn Details: This amazing new base yarn is composed of 60% Merino, 20% silk and 20% yak. It is incredibly soft and smooth, while having the sheen and strength of silk. Use it for those special projects such as cowls, hats, mitts, baby sweaters, adult sweaters and shawls. The natural color of this yarn is a heathered taupe color, so all colors have an added layer of depth and color. These skeins come with 230 yards per 100 grams. Haven DK knits up beautifully on a US5-US7 with a gauge of 5 - 5.5 sts/1". Handwash, lay flat to dry.
